Papain and Bromelain Enzyme Activity Testing

Papain and bromelain enzyme activity testing can be done here at SORA Labs.  This is one of the many enzyme assays that we preform.  We want to partner with your company on all your testing needs.

For papain and bromelain, we use the FCC PU method to determine the enzyme activity.  In some cases, bromelain is quoted in GDU activity.  GDU is not a compendial assay and has many variations of this method.  We perform the FCC PU assay, which is compendial, and then convert back to GDU.  I can send you our white paper explanation for the conversion if you let me know that you would want a copy.

End-of-Year Updates

We are also updating some of our ID Pricing.  Most ID's will go from $40 to $50 on January 1st.  Enzyme ID's will move to $100 each.  This is the first price increase since 2011.

New Capabilities at SORA Labs

We are so excited to announce some new capabilities here at SORA Labs!

USP <561> Pesticide Screening – After numerous requests for pesticide testing, we decided to make this a priority and invest in new equipment and resources to offer this service.  We have been able to successfully develop and validate the methods to perform the USP Pesticide Screen and now are excited to offer this to you.  We will need a 50g sample size and a 10 business day turn-around-time (rush service available upon request) to complete this testing.  We would like to offer a discounted rate of $300 per sample.  A coupon is enclosed to use with your 1^st sample.

Rapid Micro testing with the BIOLUMIX System-This equipment can give USP Validated micro results in 48 hours.  The biggest delay is always Yeast and Mold results that normally take up to 7 days to report.  Now this testing can be completed and reported within 48 hours!  The validation for this equipment was performed on dietary supplement ingredients.  We, of course, are also running side-by-side comparisons as well and our final study should be completed in mid-November and ready for your samples!  We will need a 30g sample size for the standard micro pack of APC, Y&M, Coliform, E.Coli, and Salmonella.  This rapid micro pack is priced at $100 per sample.  A coupon is enclosed to use with your 1^st sample.
